Tampa is becoming quite the hub for foodies — the pros & self proclaimed. Restaurants that are staples of our beloved city are finally receiving recognition and we have new restaurants to try monthly.
If Social Media Squared were to have our pick of our top picks for each meal of the day… it may go something like this:
We would start off with coffee from Buddy Brew; they have a location on the busy Kennedy and another in Hyde Park. You can also find their brew on the shelves of Publix, at another store in Sarasota & at Oxford Exchange.
Since it is still a little early… a few doughnuts from Mini Doughnut Factory will hit the spot. They’re the perfect size and have flavors you can rely on to be there daily — plus a special flavor just on Sunday.
While you can only catch brunch at Datz on Saturday & Sunday, it is worth planning for. From rich dishes of corned hash to fluffy pancakes topped with the juiciest of in-season fruit. And…you can’t forget the Monkey Bread.
Next we would grab a light lunch at Chicken Salad Chick near USF. Now…you don’t just have to grab a light lunch, you can get a meal for the entire family there! They’re the spot for all things chicken salad and so many flavors to choose from!
To finish off the day, we would enjoy dinner and drinks at Besito Mexican; located at Westshore Mall. Besito has delicious margaritas and the food is always so fresh! Personally, you cannot visit without trying their table-side guacamole and tacos.
